VA Loan Eligibility
Veterans who meet the following criteria are eligible for a VA home loan:
- 90 Consecutive Days of Active Service During Wartime: Veterans who have served at least 90 consecutive days of active duty during periods of war.
- 181 Days of Active Service During Peacetime: Veterans who have completed at least 181 days of active duty service during peacetime.
- 6 Years of Service in the National Guard or Reserves: Individuals who have served at least 6 years in the National Guard or Reserves.
- Surviving Spouse of a Service Member: Spouses of service members who died in the line of duty or from a service-related disability are eligible.
